The Research & Development department works tirelessly to provide increasingly bespoke services: Feinrohren uses software that generates performance simulation reports, carries out laboratory tests to support customers when selecting products and can develop customised solutions to optimise the use of products.

THERMAL PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE
Software to simulate the thermal performance of grooved tubes

Feinrohren has a software to calculate the thermal performance of grooved tubes, enabling the verification of various behaviour profiles during condensation and evaporation phases, inside and outside the tube.

Performance simulation reports are produced complete with parameters and graphs relating to trends for heat exchange coefficients, pressure losses, the Reynolds number, specific flow, etc.

FEM ANALYSIS SOFTWARE
FEM simulations on different profiles and tube sizing

Feinrohren can perform FEM simulations on different profiles and tube sizes.

This simulation technique makes it possible to check the distribution of mechanical stress and potential tube deformations during operation. Using the results obtained with this tool, customers can be provided with support to choose the product most suited to their design requirements.
